Camp Timberlake
TimberLake Retreat Center is a beautifully wooded 110 acre retreat center located about 3 miles from I-75 between Forsyth, Georgia and the Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge.
The Piedmont region is known for its dense forests, ample wildlife and fast-flowing rivers and waterfalls along the fall line. TimberLake Retreat Center is no exception, with a pristine fishing lake, lush forest and plenty of wildlife. Enjoy modern amenities or rustic campsites conveniently located in the center of the state of Georgia.
Cafeteria
The Cafeteria is full-service and seats up to 300 people, with views of the lake and surrounding forest from a large wrap-around deck. Its large multi-purpose room makes the Cafeteria an ideal place for small worship services (80–100 people), classroom sessions, meals, and entertainment.
Houses
For small group gatherings, there are two houses. The first option is the workers quarters that accommodate 5–30 people. Additionally, the Directors and Evangelist Quarters provide lodging for up to 8 guests with apartment style accommodations.
Dormitories
The facilities include three large dormitories. There are two identical dorms that are divided into four rooms and a lobby, accommodating 40 people in each quad with locking doors and separate showers and restrooms. The newest lodge consists of 3 individual units that sleep 55 people each.
Campsites
The grounds also include several rustic campsites ready for tents or campers for retreats and getaways. Located on the backside of the property, and out of view from any building or facilities, giving the campsites a true back-country experience.
Worship Center/Gym
This large facility consists of one full-size indoor basketball court. The other half of the building is a large meeting space for services (300–350 people), complete with a stage and room for sound, video, and lighting systems. The Worship Center/Gym is equipped with sound dampening panels and curtains.
